This Privacy Policy applies to Mad Valley, Goalera Superstar and to other games published by Wolff Interactive GmbH that link to this page (together, “our games” or the “game”).
It covers both mobile games (in particular via Google Play and the Apple App Store) and standalone applications distributed via digital storefronts such as the Epic Games Store and Steam, as well as comparable PC or console builds that link to this page.
These games are designed to work in a comparable way: essential game data stays on the device or computer, no Wolff Interactive user account is required, and personal data is processed only to the extent needed to provide the game, analyse usage, show advertising where offered, handle purchases, or because of technical requirements of the platforms and services used.
Individual games may not offer every function described below. Where a function is not available in a particular game or on a particular platform, the corresponding processing does not take place.

Mad Valley and Goalera Superstar are brands of Wolff Interactive GmbH. The same applies to other games that link to this Privacy Policy.
The protection of your personal data is important to us.
Our games are designed so that essential game data is processed and stored locally on your device or computer. No user account with Wolff Interactive GmbH is required to use the games.
Personal data is processed only to the extent necessary to provide and improve the game, analyse usage, deliver advertising where offered, process purchases, or due to technical requirements of the platforms and services used (for example Google Play, Apple App Store, Epic Games Store, Steam, or related platform services).
Our games generally store save games and other data required for the game locally on the user’s device or computer. This may include, for example:
Wolff Interactive GmbH does not transfer these local game contents to its own servers for hosting or publication.
Depending on the operating system, storefront and the settings chosen by the user, platform providers may offer their own functions for backing up, cloud-saving or synchronising game or app data (for example via the device manufacturer, Google, Apple, Epic Games or Steam). Such processing is subject to the privacy policy of the respective platform provider.
To understand how our games are used and to develop them further, we may collect pseudonymised usage statistics.
For this purpose, a randomly generated technical identifier (installation ID) may be used upon installation or first use. It allows related usage events of the same installation to be recognised and evaluated statistically.
The installation ID does not itself contain details such as a name or email address and is not linked by us to a Wolff Interactive user account, as no such account is required.
The usage analysis may in particular process the following information:
The following are in particular not part of our usage analysis:
When a function is used, we record, for example, only that an import or sharing function was used. The content used or shared is not transferred to Wolff Interactive GmbH for usage analysis.
Usage statistics are used in particular to evaluate average play time, use of individual features, return rate, game progress and long-term use of our games, and to derive improvements from that.
Where a game uses Google AdMob, Wolff Interactive GmbH does not link the installation ID generated for this own usage analysis with Google AdMob advertising identifiers.
Where usage analysis is enabled for a game, the pseudonymised usage statistics are transmitted to systems of Wolff Interactive GmbH for evaluation and stored there.
When communicating with our servers, the IP address of the device or computer used is transmitted for technical reasons. The IP address is not stored as part of the pseudonymised usage profile in our analytics database and is not used to identify the user.
Usage statistics are not combined with directly identifying information about the user.
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect the transmitted data against unauthorised access.
The pseudonymised usage analysis serves to analyse and improve our games, in particular to recognise usage patterns, assess game features and develop the play experience further.
Where consent is legally required for storing or accessing information on the end device or for subsequent processing, processing is based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR in conjunction with the applicable statutory provisions.
Consent given may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future, using the settings provided in the respective game where such settings are available.
Where processing without consent is legally permitted, it is based on the relevant statutory legal basis, in particular Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in analysing and improving our games).
Our games may allow users to use their own content locally within the game. This may include, for example, freely chosen names as well as data and images imported via a datapack or similar import function.
We do not operate a platform for publishing or distributing this user-created or imported content.
Imported files and the data they contain are not transferred to servers of Wolff Interactive GmbH for publication, hosting, distribution or usage analysis.
Our games may provide a function through which users can share content such as profiles, career information, results or screenshots via the sharing functions available on their device or operating system.
Sharing is triggered solely by the user.
We do not ourselves publish this content on social networks and do not operate our own social sharing platform for this purpose.
For our own usage analysis, we may record only that a sharing function was opened or used. The content of the shared screenshot or other shared content is not transferred to us for usage analysis.
If the user chooses an external service, for example a social media, messenger or other app, further processing is carried out by the selected provider under that provider’s privacy policy.
Where a game contains advertising — typically certain mobile versions and not standalone Epic Games Store or Steam builds unless expressly stated in the game — it uses Google AdMob, an advertising service of Google.
The provider for users in the European Economic Area is generally:
Google Ireland Limited
Gordon House
Barrow Street
Dublin 4
Ireland
AdMob is used in particular to provide voluntary rewarded ads. Rewarded ads are advertisements that the user may watch voluntarily in order to receive a benefit stated in the game, for example an additional play entitlement.
In connection with the provision and measurement of advertising, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may in particular process the following data:
The IP address may among other things be used to approximate location.
Google may use this information in particular to provide and measure advertising, for analytics, and to prevent fraud and abuse.
Depending on the privacy choice made by the user, ads may be personalised or non-personalised.
Our own usage analysis and data processing by Google AdMob are not linked by us via shared user identifiers.
Further information on data processing by Google is available in
Google’s Privacy Policy
and
Google’s AdMob information.
For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom and Switzerland, our games use a Google-certified consent management solution where advertising is offered.
On first launch, or where a new prompt is required, users may receive information about the advertising technologies used via a corresponding dialogue and make their privacy choices.
Where consent is required for processing, the relevant processing is based on Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
Consent given may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future, or the privacy choice made may be opened again and changed via the function provided within the respective game.
The lawfulness of processing based on consent until withdrawal remains unaffected.
Where advertising is offered and there is no consent to personalised advertising, a game may — where technically and legally permitted — provide non-personalised or limited advertising.
Even with non-personalised advertising, certain processing may be required, for example for technical delivery of an ad, measurement, security, or prevention of fraud and abuse.
Whether a rewarded ad is available may depend on the respective privacy choice and the technical availability of a suitable ad.
Our games may offer optional in-app purchases, in-game purchases, downloadable content or subscriptions, depending on the platform.
Payment processing is handled by the respective storefront or platform provider, in particular:
Payment data such as credit card or bank details are not processed by Wolff Interactive GmbH.
A game may receive information about a purchase or subscription from the respective platform provider to the extent necessary to unlock purchased content or features, restore a purchase, or check the status of a subscription or entitlement.
This may include, for example, the product identifier, purchase or subscription status, ownership or entitlement information, and transaction information required for technical validation.
The privacy policy of the respective storefront or platform provider additionally applies to payment processing and the associated data processing.
No separate user account with Wolff Interactive GmbH is required to use our games.
We therefore in particular do not maintain our own game user accounts with names, email addresses or passwords for Wolff Interactive.
Depending on the distribution channel, a platform account of the respective storefront may be required or used to download, launch, update or purchase the game — for example a Google account, Apple ID, Epic Games account or Steam account. Those accounts are operated by the respective platform provider under that provider’s terms and privacy policy. Wolff Interactive GmbH does not operate those platform accounts.
Where a game uses Epic Account Services / Epic Online Services (for example for sign-in, overlay or related platform features), authentication and related processing are carried out by Epic Games. To the extent necessary to provide the relevant game feature, we may receive limited technical information from Epic (for example a technical account identifier or display name). We do not receive the user’s Epic password or payment credentials. Further details are set out in Epic’s privacy information.
Where a game uses Steamworks or comparable Steam platform services, corresponding technical processing may be carried out by Valve. Further details are set out in Steam’s / Valve’s privacy information.
Personal data may, in the context of the functions described in this Privacy Policy, in particular be processed by the following recipients:
Any further disclosure of personal data by Wolff Interactive GmbH takes place only where there is a legal basis for it.
When using external services, it cannot be ruled out that personal data is processed outside the European Union or the European Economic Area.
Where personal data is transferred to a third country, this is done in accordance with the statutory requirements, in particular on the basis of an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards pursuant to Art. 44 et seq. GDPR.
Further information is provided by the respective providers in their privacy information.
Personal data is generally processed only for as long as necessary for the respective purpose or as required by statutory retention obligations.
Pseudonymised usage statistics are stored only for as long as they are required for the analysis and further development of our games.
For data processed by external services such as Google AdMob, Apple, Google Play, Epic Games or Steam, the specific storage period is determined by the rules of the respective provider.
Locally stored game data generally remains on the user’s device or computer and can be removed, for example, by deleting the app or game, uninstalling the application, or deleting the corresponding local app or game data.
Data subjects have, subject to the statutory requirements, in particular the right to:
Where processing is based on consent, that consent may be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future.
As our own usage analysis works only with a random installation ID and is not linked to a name or email address, we may not be able to identify a data subject directly from this data.
To exercise your rights, you may contact us:
Wolff Interactive GmbH
Email: support@wolff-interactive.com
Data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority about the processing of their personal data.
For Wolff Interactive GmbH, the competent authority is in particular the
State Commissioner for Data Protection of Lower Saxony
(Die Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz Niedersachsen). You may also contact the supervisory authority in the EU Member State of your habitual residence, place of work, or place of the alleged infringement.
When this Privacy Policy is called up in a browser, our web host may store server log files. These may include the browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, date and time of access, IP address, and similar technical data.
This information is needed to deliver the page, ensure the security and stability of our systems, and — where necessary — provide information to law enforcement authorities in the event of an attack. We do not use these logs to draw conclusions about you as a person. They are stored separately from personal data provided by a data subject and are deleted after a short period unless they are needed to investigate security incidents.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure operation of this website).
We may adapt this Privacy Policy if functions of our games, the services used or legal requirements change.
The current version is the one published at this URL and, where applicable, linked from the respective game, the Apple App Store, Google Play, the Epic Games Store, Steam or comparable store pages.
